Under the patronage of Riyadh Governor, HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the activities of the 5th round of Asbar World Forum 2020 will be initiated Monday evening, November 2 under the heading "Future of the Future"

The Forum's events will be initiated in an opening ceremony, where HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulziz, Riyadh governor, and His Excellency Mr. Bandar Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, will address the Forum.

Dr. Fahad Al-Orabi Al-Harithi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Forum, Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and Founder of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Group, Dr. Abdullah Dahlan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Business and Technology, and Prof. Farouk El-Baz, director of the Center for Remote Sensing at Boston University in Massachusetts will also address the Forum.

The three-day Forum will witness a gathering of 90 speakers from about 19 countries around the world, and its activities will vary to include scientific sessions, workshops, interventions and lectures that highlight the rapid changes taking place in the world in many economic, social and health aspects.

The Forum also witnesses discussion of several other topics, including water and energy, education and remote work, the future of health, digital transformation, crisis management, epidemics and climate change, in addition to the Kingdom's presidency of the G20 summit.

It is worth noting that the Forum is a developmental economic conference held annually. It represents a strategic platform for creating initiatives and exchanging knowledge and experiences. It aims at providing a high-level understanding of the knowledge-based economy, clarifying the interrelated relationship between the knowledge society and sustainable development and contributing to the process of community transformation, by activating knowledge and human capital, in addition to inspiring successful global experiences.
